Job Summary
Plan and implement project schedules, review construction documents for constructability, and coordinate plans with design engineers. Supervise assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities while developing and managing site logistics. Coach team members, conduct orientations and planning sessions, and handle hiring, transfers, and dismissals. Ensure proper task coding, track work progress, and lead safety, quality, risk, and compliance efforts. Build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels. This role offers opportunities at both Level I and Level II, with pay ranging from $111,400 to $195,200 based on experience and location. Full travel is required up to 100%. Mortenson, a top builder and EPC firm, works across sports, renewable energy, data centers, and healthcare sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management
- 10 years trade experience
- Current driver's license
- Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
- Detail-oriented, able to organize and manage multiple project tasks
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
- Effective communication and active listening skills
- Openness to diverse input and feedback
- Ability to travel up to 100%

- Minimum 5 years construction management or related experience
- Minimum 8 years construction management or related experience
