Superintendent - HVAC Maintenance

Job Summary
Supervise HVAC maintenance activities and union craft labor in compliance with contract estimates and job cost reports. Plan, approve, and coordinate subcontractor work while developing detailed look-ahead schedules and recovery strategies for budget or schedule jeopardy. Ensure all trades meet safety, quality, and technical qualification standards through rigorous QA program adherence and field documentation. Maintain relationships with clients, engineers, and consultants while verifying as-built conditions and lines and levels. Requires minimum five years of nuclear industry supervision experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and U.S. citizenship for security clearance access.
Required Qualifications
- Education to include a technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- Minimum 5 years construction and subcontractor supervision experience in the nuclear industry
- Ability to successfully supervise a construction project
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as; technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements
- Good communication, organizational and supervisory skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read and understand CGC Cost Reports
- Basic presentation skills
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Report to work on time and Fit For Duty (FFD)
- Climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds and access lifts as required to supervise craft labor
- U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Prior HVAC and Duct installation/Supervisory experience
