Job Summary
Oversee multiple home renovation and construction projects simultaneously, developing detailed schedules, monitoring progress, and coordinating subcontractors and material deliveries. Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and adherence to blueprints and specifications. Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and approve vendor invoices while possessing knowledge of light electrical and plumbing work to guide related activities and address code compliance issues. Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and team members, documenting all project progress, changes, and incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction, including renovation and new construction projects
- Strong knowledge and experience in light electrical and plumbing work for times when self-performed work is needed and project oversight
- Proven track record in project management, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in interpreting blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
