Job Summary
Provide overall construction management including design, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Project Manager, subcontractors, owners, engineers, and architects. Manage work on site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Plan and implement schedules, determine manpower levels and material quantities, and ensure proper equipment and trades are available. Lead project meetings with internal and external parties to monitor team progression. Advise senior management on potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties to assist in resolving them. Requires 3-5 years of heavy civil experience and a construction-related degree. Salary range is $100,000 - $135,000.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Heavy Civil experience working on roads, bridges, earthworks, or similar projects
- construction related degree/diploma
- five to eight years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- working knowledge of scheduling, project management and contract software
- ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion
