Job Summary
Coordinate all site construction activities, including daily field operations, quality control, and safety compliance. Assist the General Superintendent in developing and maintaining project schedules, managing material deliveries, and preparing daily construction reports. Secure necessary permits and approvals, communicate with designers for RFIs, and maintain document control systems. Partner with the project manager to address constructability issues, review scope, and submit monthly status reports to the client. Ensure all subcontractors and vendors adhere to safety protocols and project standards while maintaining a clean site.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelors degree, or possess equivalent years of related experience
- Working knowledge of various construction disciplines
- Working knowledge of union agreements/jurisdiction
- Working knowledge of cost control
- Working knowledge of scheduling
- Working knowledge of safety regulations
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings
- Working knowledge of other documents required
- NYC Buildings Construction Superintendent License is a plus
- 10-Hour OSHA and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificate
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
- Microsoft Outlook
