Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day construction activities on a $150 million university project by supervising subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure adherence to specifications. Monitor on-site progress, quality, and safety while coordinating with project managers, architects, and engineers to execute project plans. Troubleshoot delays and resolve issues to maintain schedule and budget. Review daily reports, schedules, and quality control documentation. Collaborate with the Lead Superintendent to ensure effective communication across stakeholders. Requires 5-7 years of construction supervision experience, OSHA 30-Hour certification, and a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. Salary ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of experience in construction supervision
- Focus on large-scale projects
- Experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a similar support role on projects in the $50M - $100M range is preferred
- High school diploma
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the university or institutional sector
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Additional certifications, such as LEED
