Job Summary
Superintendent responsible for overall construction management on large, complex projects, coordinating design, budget and schedule with Project Manager, Owners, Engineers and Architects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Lead project meetings, mentor project team members, advise senior management on potential problems and schedule conflicts, and monitor cost reports to maintain positive cash flow. Requires a construction-related degree and 6–8 years of experience (or equivalent), advanced knowledge of safety, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings, and ability to manage trade relationships and deliver project success.
Required Qualifications
- construction related degree
- 6 to 8 years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control and engineering drawings
- ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, produce workable solutions and lead a large team to successful completion
- manage trade relationships and ensure schedule is on track for project success
