Job Summary
The Superintendent Electrical is responsible for managing and coordinating projects to optimize the papermaking process and equipment, ensuring maximum availability and reliability of control systems. The role involves overseeing preventive maintenance for Electrical Distribution Systems, coordinating with maintenance and production teams, and providing training on control systems. The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, extensive experience in power distribution and process control systems in a manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety and strong analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in engineering or 10+ years of experience maintaining paper mill process control and electrical systems
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- Experience in engineering distributed control systems and programmable logic controllers in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the maintenance and design of power distribution systems
- Thorough understanding of the manufacture of paper machine drive systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Allen Bradley/Rockwell software products, WonderWare in Touch, and Parkview
