Job Summary

Prepare and develop a construction team of experienced supervisory personnel, including succession planning. Manage site execution matters, direct-hire and subcontracted labor, and ensure timely performance while upholding quality standards. Account for all site safety and human performance issues, collaborate with the project Safety Manager, and maintain a positive relationship with client construction counterparts. Utilize project master schedules to create detailed look-ahead schedules, monitor risks, and develop recovery strategies when schedule or budget is in jeopardy. Assume responsibility for productivity, efficient material use, and contractual performance of direct hire trade labor and subcontractors. Ensure trades personnel complete necessary training in safety, quality assurance, technical qualifications, and owner specifications. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including communication with payroll and training coordinators. Ensure project construction complies with drawings, specifications, and field work requirements while reinforcing a strong nuclear safety culture. Requires U.S. citizenship for nuclear facility access and security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of nuclear construction and subcontractor supervision experience
  • Journeyman electrical experience
  • Industrial electrical experience
  • Ability to handle all matters in a confidential and professional manner
  • Excellent organizational, communication and customer relationship skills
  • Extensive knowledge of self-perform trades work
  • Estimating knowledge
  • Employee relations knowledge
  • Proficient trades union relations management skills
  • Solid understanding of union agreements applicable to the work
  • Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements
  • Understanding of how to support a positive Nuclear Safety Culture
  • Full appreciation of the importance of Quality Assurance Programs and their significance to the nuclear industry
  • U.S. citizenship
