Job Summary

Lead assigned construction projects by overseeing field staff, craftworkers, and subcontractors while preparing work schedules and assignments. Enforce safety procedures through daily toolbox talks, job safety analyses, and weekly site inspections to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Coordinate hiring, equipment movement, and strategic growth plans with the regional General Superintendent to meet company goals for safety, quality, and workmanship. Monitor budgets, process timesheets, and address deficiencies to maintain project performance. Requires 5+ years managing deep foundation and geotechnical projects, OSHA 30-hour certification, and experience with union trades.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience managing Deep Foundation and Geotechnical construction projects, preferably structure related, with multiple trades and numerous craft persons
  • Experience with contracts, specifications, reports and records
  • Experience with trade supervision including performance evaluations
  • Experience with hiring, supervising, and assisting in training of union trades
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
  • Ability to work and think independently, solve problems and be able to lead a team/crew
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles
  • Ability to recognize skilled and unskilled trade talents and weaknesses
  • Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings, and plans
  • Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction sites
  • Thorough understanding of quality construction practices
  • Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Must be able to work on project sites, including federal projects, and in a heavy manufacturing facility with various safety hazards which are potentially life-threatening to the employee
  • Must be able to work at heights
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to work around heavy equipment
  • Must be able to work around high voltage
  • Must be able to work under constantly changing circumstances
  • Must be able to work at night
  • Must be able to work on weekends on an as needed basis
  • Must be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a federal contractor
  • Must sign standard confidentiality agreement as a condition of employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Secant Pile walls and shafts
