Job Summary
Oversee and document all day-to-day job site activities, including OSHA safety compliance, subcontractor performance, and quality management. Direct field personnel according to the project plan, establish and maintain the project baseline schedule, and communicate daily progress and issues to the Project Manager. Manage site pre-construction, mobilization, and closeout phases while attending weekly foreman, safety, and owner meetings. Ensure all subcontractors adhere to site-specific safety plans and insurance requirements, conduct safety inspections using predictive software, and maintain accurate logs, as-built drawings, and required files. Resolve personnel issues and construction process revisions with the Project Manager to meet client expectations and budget constraints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in applicable discipline
- 4+ years of experience in related construction fields
- Applicable area licenses
- Must possess effective communication skills
- Must possess business judgment to negotiate the critical balance between budget and construction processes
- Must have judgment to know when to appropriately escalate issues up the chain of command
