Job Summary
Oversee the maintenance team and ensure the property's physical condition and operational integrity for residents, visitors, and staff. Diagnose and perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance, including minor and major repairs, while managing inventory and supplies. Lead, supervise, and support team members, fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and service professionals. Implement preventive maintenance programs and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment. Requires three years of full-time maintenance experience with working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and household appliances. Located in Cazenovia, NY, this role offers a competitive salary, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) match, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of full-time maintenance experience
- Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and household appliances
- Willingness to perform hands-on tasks and continue professional development
- Strong communication skills with confidence, positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups
- Must be able to pass a 5-year background check
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing
