Job Summary
Manage overall onsite project operations from inception to final acceptance, including daily CPM schedule updates, two-week look-ahead planning, and comprehensive job progress documentation. Direct foremen and trades to enforce safety practices, manage punch lists, and ensure timely field documentation while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site. Coordinate with subcontractors, attend owner progress meetings, and oversee mobilization activities such as site surveys and temporary facility setup. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with 5+ years of experience on commercial projects over $5M, including OSHA 30 certification and proficiency in Procore. Candidates must be based in the Baltimore Washington Metro Area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or Project Engineer working on U.S. based 'ground up' commercial construction project in excess of $5M
- Staff Management experience
- Excellent Safety record
- Ability to work with various field personnel and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
- Must be comfortable with and able to manage self perform work
- Computer literate with experience in Procore or similiar project management software
- Detail oriented and organized with a commitment to excellence
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- A combination of experience and a higher education in a Trade Specialization, Construction Management, Engineering or similiar is a plus
