Job Summary
Traveling Construction Superintendent/Construction Manager for Life Sciences projects. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising Pharma/Biotech renovations and building additions with extensive process piping, clean utilities, mechanical upgrades, and automation; collaborating with clients, design teams, and subcontractors; enforcing a safety-first culture; performing QA/QC; managing subcontractors and site logistics; collecting and submitting shop drawings, product data, and test reports; updating construction schedules and look-ahead plans; reviewing estimates and budgets with operations and project management; producing daily/weekly reports and maintaining photo documentation; travel to job sites as needed and operating a company vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in construction management or experience in the trades
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management/supervision
- Good working knowledge of mechanical systems and process piping
- Partnership approach to working with contractors, designers and clients
- MS Office Suite knowledge and strong computer skills
- Proficient with scheduling software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a team
- Self-motivation with good time management skills
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
