Job Summary
Supervise field construction operations to ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget in the South Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon region. Assist project management in creating work plans, CPM schedules, and short-interval look-ahead schedules while coordinating day-to-day activities and notifying trade contractors. Maintain thorough documentation of contract documents, RFIs, submittals, and daily site paperwork using Procore and Microsoft Project. Manage site logistics, coordinate material and labor supply, and inspect subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with safety plans and quality standards. Chair weekly coordination meetings, enforce company safety standards, and oversee equipment inventory. Requires five years of progressive commercial construction supervision experience, a valid driver's license, and CPR/AED certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reasonable driving record
- CPR/AED certificate (within six months of hire)
- 30-hour OSHA training (within six months of hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of progressive experience in commercial construction supervision
- Strong plan reading and interpretation skills
- Strong project level supervisory and leadership skills
- Knowledge of basic building codes
- Broad knowledge of building and/or industrial construction
- Layout skills: use of common automatic levels and transits
- Understanding of commercial safety standards
- Ability to apply basic mathematic concepts of algebra and geometry
- Proficiency with typical industry software, such as Microsoft Office Suit and Bluebeam
- Ability to type/key a minimum of thirty (30) words per minute
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication to varying audiences
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to see within normal parameters
- Ability to hear within normal range
- Ability to move about a construction site including, but not limited to: climbing ladders and scaffolds, and walk over uneven terrain
