Job Summary
Supervise field construction operations for commercial projects in the South Willamette Valley and Southern Oregon to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Assist project management in creating work plans, CPM schedules, and weekly look-ahead schedules while coordinating subcontractors and suppliers for timely performance. Maintain daily site documentation, including timecards, field reports, and RFIs, using Procore and Microsoft Project. Manage site logistics, enforce safety standards through weekly toolbox talks, and oversee quality control by reviewing shop drawings and approving as-built documents. Chair coordination meetings with subcontractors and direct inspection agency activities. Requires at least five years of progressive experience in commercial construction supervision.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of progressive experience in commercial construction supervision
- Valid driver's license and reasonable driving record
- CPR/AED certificate (within six months of hire)
- 30-hour OSHA training (within six months of hire)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong plan reading and interpretation skills
- Strong project level supervisory and leadership skills
- Knowledge of basic building codes
- Broad knowledge of building and/or industrial construction
- Layout skills: use of common automatic levels and transits
- Understanding of commercial safety standards
- Ability to apply basic mathematic concepts of algebra and geometry
- Proficiency with typical industry software, such as Microsoft Office Suit and Bluebeam
- Ability to type/key a minimum of thirty (30) words per minute
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication to varying audiences
- Ability to be flexible with changing priorities, work under pressure, meet deadlines
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to see within normal parameters
- Ability to hear within normal range
- Ability to move about a construction site including, but not limited to: climbing ladders and scaffolds, and walk over uneven terrain
