Job Summary
Concrete Project Superintendent oversees all concrete construction operations on-site, coordinates with Operations Managers and Project Management for scheduling and resource planning, supervises field labor, ensures adherence to budget and quality standards, tracks daily/weekly progress, and maintains safety compliance. Requires over a decade of experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction (prefer Tilt-up), strong communication skills, Spanish-speaking ability for on-site coordination, and willingness to travel up to 100% or relocate as needed. The role works closely with General Contractors to ensure timely sequencing and efficient project execution; reports to Operations Manager/Project Management and supervises field manpower to ensure people and materials are utilized effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 10 or more years experience in commercial/industrial concrete construction, on projects of 2+ million, ideally with specific experience in Tilt-up Construction
- Previous experience as a Concrete Superintendent
- Ability to supervise construction employees within budget and schedule
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel and/or relocate
- Able to balance and prioritize multiple deadlines
- Solid understanding of Safety First philosophy
