Job Summary
Superintendent responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft activities on commercial construction projects; work closely with the Project Manager to communicate project status, budgets, and scheduling; manage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers; review project documents, subcontracts, invoices, and submittals; maintain project look-ahead schedules, track change orders, and ensure timely completion of punch lists; enforce safety and EEO standards; hire and lay off workers as needed; coordinate weekly meetings with the project team and ensure quality control across subcontractors; require strong field experience, leadership, and robust communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of field experience
- Computer skills are required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed office management and organizational skills
