Job Summary
Lead all field operations from preconstruction through closeout, building safe, high-performing jobsites where safety is never compromised. Develop and manage project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and drive quality, production, and daily execution while anticipating and resolving field challenges proactively. Manage labor, equipment, and material performance to achieve project goals, mentor other Superintendents, and represent Pepper with professionalism on every project. Partner closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and trade partners to deliver complex commercial construction projects across Wisconsin. Senior candidates bring 15+ years of progressively responsible field leadership experience managing projects approximately $10M+.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading commercial construction projects in the field
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and safety practices
- Ability to lead teams, build trust, and hold high standards
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Senior Superintendent candidates typically bring 15+ years of progressively responsible field leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing projects approximately $10M+ preferred
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent field experience preferred
