Job Summary
Manage day-to-day jobsite operations for commercial construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel while developing and maintaining project schedules. Conduct daily jobsite meetings to coordinate workflow among all trades, ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, and perform quality control inspections to meet specifications. Identify and resolve field issues proactively, coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions, and maintain accurate daily reports and documentation. Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, and owners throughout the project lifecycle. This role oversees ground-up and renovation projects in the Inland Empire and North San Diego County, including education, retail, office, and municipal facilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing commercial construction projects
- Experience leading projects in one or more of the following sectors: Education, Retail, Office, Commercial renovations, Ground-up commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of commercial building methods, scheduling, sequencing, and quality control
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
