Job Summary
Superintendent for Commercial Construction overseeing retail and high-end retail projects across the West Coast. Responsible for establishing safety and quality standards, studying plans to plan procedures and staffing, developing and updating construction schedules, preparing reports, reviewing drawings, coordinating on-site activities from pre-start to completion, managing subcontractors and owner vendors, and ensuring zero-punch project close with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and timely delivery. Requires 5-10 years of direct field experience, ability to travel, experience with ground-up and TI work, familiarity with Procore, and excellent communication and document-management skills. Travel is required across listed West Coast locations.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience as Construction Superintendent with a track record of completing projects on time and with high customer satisfaction
- Travel availability for projects
- Experience with high end luxury retail is a plus
- Experience with ground-up and TI (tenant improvement) projects
- Strong communication and document management skills
- Procore experience preferred
- Safety and quality standards focus
- Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, owner representatives, city officials, and design/engineering professionals
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving abilities
- Screening requirements: motor vehicle, drug screen
