Job Summary
Manage cost-effective project schedules and resource plans while overseeing site logistics, including trailer delivery and setup. Lead weekly subcontractor coordination and toolbox safety meetings, assisting in the selection and supervision of trade contractors. Ensure adherence to architectural plans, specifications, and regulations, and monitor project progress, timelines, and modifications. Enforce project safety, quality, and resource control per AVB standards, supervising assistant managers and addressing performance issues. Requires 2+ years of construction experience, a Bachelor's or Associates degree, and proficiency in ProCore and MS Project. Works primarily on active construction sites with exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and uneven terrain, involving prolonged standing and mandatory safety equipment use.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years or more experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity
- Must have strong organization and leadership skills and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, both verbally and in writing
- Technologically proficient with office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.) and construction management software (ProCore, MS Project, and Bluebeam)

- The Commercial Superintendent works primarily on active construction sites and is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, noise, dust, and uneven terrain
- The role requires the ability to walk and move safely around job sites, navigate rough or unfinished surfaces, and climb stairs and ladders
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds is required
- The position also involves prolonged periods of standing and site inspections

Desired Qualifications
