Job Summary
Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs, and schedules for assigned projects, reviewing daily plans with direct reports and updating weekly forecasts. Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and utility companies to ensure proper equipment and materials complete production within budget. Identify hazardous areas on job sites with work crews and engineers, while providing technical input to resolve risks related to construction methods, safety, and schedule activities. Supervise sub-contractor production and workforce, recommending adjustments to work schedules or methods as needed. Document daily activities and meeting notes using approved company methods, promoting strict adherence to safety protocols and process controls.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of heavy civil construction experience
- 5+ years construction management experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements
- Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols and proven ability to enforce project safety programs
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract specific plans and specifications
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals geometry
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

- Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification
