Job Summary
The Superintendent position at Powell Service Division involves overseeing and supporting contract labor and field technicians, managing large-scale projects including installation and testing of switchgear, and maintaining customer relations. Key responsibilities include mentoring staff, conducting safety inspections, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Candidates must have at least 5 years in an industrial electrical environment and 2 years in a leadership role, alongside strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an industrial electrical or related environment
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in leading teams
- Must possess a valid driver license with a clear record
Desired Qualifications
- Versed in electrical safety by way of NFPA 70E and OSHA 30/OSHA 3095
- Skilled with Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Business system experience in Oracle a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
