Job Summary
As a Superintendent for Barringer in Greenville, SC, you’ll own daily field leadership on commercial projects, run the site with a craftsman’s eye, coordinate trade partners, and serve as the face of Barringer to clients and design partners. You’ll work with Project Managers to align design intent, schedule, and budget, lead safety, quality, and productivity on site, mentor assistant supers and field staff, manage look-aheads and trade sequencing, and document field progress while maintaining a clean, safe jobsite.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- read and interpret construction drawings and specs
- experience coordinating trade partners and subcontractors
- proficiency with Procore; familiarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- understanding of OSHA standards and jobsite safety practices
- ability to navigate active construction environments and perform physical tasks
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to jobsites
