Superintendent, Automation, Electrical & Measurement

Job Summary
Lead the safe, reliable, and cost-effective execution of automation, electrical, instrumentation, SCADA, and measurement activities across Crescent Energy's Permian Basin region. Provide leadership to foremen, technicians, and contractors while overseeing the design, programming, installation, and maintenance of PLCs, transformers, switchgear, and flow computers. Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and IT/OT teams to maximize production uptime, manage emergency responses, and ensure compliance with OSHA, API, and regulatory standards. Conduct field audits, root-cause analysis, and preventive maintenance planning to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas operations experience
- At least five years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Demonstrated knowledge of production automation, electrical power distribution, instrumentation, measurement systems, SCADA systems, and PLC programming fundamentals
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate work across multiple operating areas
- Experience managing contractors, budgets, and capital projects
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and respond effectively to operational emergencies
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to access operating locations and equipment, including walking on uneven terrain and using stairs or ladders
- Availability for occasional nights, weekends, and after-hours emergency response
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
