Job Summary
Construction Superintendent leading on-site operations for architecturally sophisticated, high-end custom homes and related projects in the Vail Valley. Oversees day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedule and quality standards, and protecting craftsmanship and client experience. Drives safety culture, manages sequencing and logistics, ensures compliance with codes and finishes standards, and collaborates with leadership to advance field systems and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in construction, including at least 5 years as a Superintendent or equivalent field-lead on high-end custom homes or similarly complex projects
- Proven success leading complex construction projects from preconstruction through CO and warranty while satisfying clients and protecting company margins
- Experience coordinating multiple trades on architecturally sophisticated, detail-heavy homes; mountain or cold-weather building experience is a plus
- Fluency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Comfortable with construction technology and documentation tools (scheduling, field/project management, digital plans)
- Current stack includes Construction Online for project management, Dropbox, Microsoft 365, and Adobe
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training preferred
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required
