Job Summary
Manage all field operations by creating an environment where Assistant Superintendents and Foremen execute their duties effectively. Direct project schedules through clear communication, establish comprehensive site logistics plans, and create three-week look-ahead schedules detailing actual project specifics. Lead the creation and maintenance of the project schedule while conducting weekly subcontractor meetings to ensure quality and optimize work efforts. Review and approve daily reports, oversee Project Engineer field duties, and coordinate field receivables with the General Foreman. Monitor subcontractor quality through the implementation of a Field Control Plan and verify job site deliveries. This role involves 5-10 years of experience on large commercial projects and requires concrete or self-perform project background.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in the role of Superintendent on large commercial projects
- Experience working on concrete or self-perform projects for a subcontractor or general contractor, or experience working in concrete field labor
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to lead
- Desire to teach and mentor Project Engineers and Field employees
