Job Summary
Supervise construction and maintenance activities for nuclear projects, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and contract standards. Coordinate subcontractors and union labor while managing detailed project schedules, recovery strategies, and resource allocation. Plan and approve field execution, verify as-built conditions, and maintain comprehensive documentation including daily progress reports and training records. Interface with clients, engineers, and consultants to drive efficient project performance and technical compliance. Requires U.S. citizenship for security clearance, a technical college diploma, and minimum five years of nuclear industry supervision experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- Minimum 5 years construction and subcontractor supervision experience in the nuclear industry
- Ability to successfully supervise a construction project
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as; technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements
- Good communication, organizational and supervisory skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read and understand CGC Cost Reports
- Basic presentation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds and access lifts as required to supervise craft labor
