Job Summary
Electrical Superintendent for data center projects: oversee all electrical work and staff, plan and schedule tasks within budget, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, lead journeyman electricians, foremen, and apprentices, provide training and performance evaluations, ensure compliance with industry standards and codes, supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems (wiring, conduits, lighting, control systems), conduct inspections and safety audits, troubleshoot complex issues, maintain documentation and reports, and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime; requires extensive experience as a journeyman electrician with supervisory background, knowledge of safety codes (OSHA/NFPA 70E), and a valid electrician license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or foreman role
- Valid journeyman electrician license (Preferred)
- Additional certifications (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E) are a plus
- Valid driver's license
