Job Summary
Residential Property Handyperson to perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair and carpentry; paint and drywall repairs; flooring; maintenance of units in preparation for apartment turns; conduct regular safety inspections; on-call and emergency maintenance; comply with OSHA regulations; must be present on-site and able to navigate stairs and tight spaces; EPA 608 certification (or ability to obtain) and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- EPA 608 Universal technical certification
- S12, S13, S95, P99 or capable of obtaining the required certifications
- Proficient in computer operations, particularly Microsoft Office and Yardi software
- Knowledge of safety protocols, building codes and utilization of related machinery and tools
- On-site presence and ability to move through building, address tenant and vendor needs
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (>50 pounds)
- On-call availability and emergency maintenance responsiveness
