Job Summary
Manage project safety, quality, and schedule for assigned smaller-scale commercial projects from kickoff to closeout. Ensure Peterson standards are adhered to by the team while mentoring members and coordinating subcontractors through daily site walks, inspections, and meetings. Review documents for constructability, maintain project records including RFIs and as-builts, and create site-specific safety plans. Represent the company professionally with clients, consultants, and agencies while utilizing Procore, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling software. Requires 2–3 years of experience, 30-hour OSHA certification, and ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a superintendent or equivalent role in the commercial construction industry
- 30-hour OSHA certified
- Solid understanding of the commercial construction industry
- Solid understanding of site safety requirements
- Solid understanding of planning
- Solid understanding of scheduling
- Solid understanding of building trade sequence of work
