Job Summary
Superintendent for Residence role: assumes 24/7 duties, oversees building grounds and common areas, coordinates repairs and with contractors, conducts inspections and preventative maintenance, manages inventory and supplies, responds to tenant requests and emergency calls, participates in hiring and supervising maintenance staff, and Live-in at a Manhattan/Bronx residence with on-call 24/7. Requires High School diploma/GED, valid driver's license, ability to perform basic electrical/plumbing/mechanical repairs, knowledge of building codes and safety standards, basic computer literacy; bilingual Spanish preferred. Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, some holidays/weekends. Vaccination preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED. Prior experience working on a construction or maintenance crew is a plus. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to perform basic repairs in electrical, plumbing and mechanical. Knowledge of building codes and safety standards as set forth by regulatory agencies. Basic computer literacy required. Bilingual in spanish preferred.
