Job Summary
Conduct admissions and financial aid presentations to potential students and their families, hosting workshops and attending related events to provide guidance. Meet with prospective applicants in person or via videoconference to explain processes, review materials including FAFSA/TAP data, and administer admission decisions based on file evaluations. Proactively communicate with admitted students to confirm matriculation, manage award communications, and advise constituents on required documentation. Cross-train between Admissions and Financial Aid offices as needed. This 12-month full-time role offers a salary of $48,000 with evening and weekend hours based on job needs.
Required Qualifications
- unrestricted employment authorization to work in the United States
- appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- minimum of two years' experience in post-secondary admissions or related Student Services position
- strong oral and written communication skills
- the ability to communicate effectively with administrators, faculty, parents, students and high school counselors
- Schedule may include working evening and weekend hours based on job needs
