Job Summary
Provide non-medical, in-home care including companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, bathing, and toileting. Transport clients to and from appointments and activities while carrying out specific tasks within their Care Plan. Collaborate with the Home Helpers team and client families to create compassionate solutions for unique needs. Maintain a professional appearance, punctuality, and dependable disposition. Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record. Pass a drug screen, background check, and TB test. Be at least 18 years old with a passion for caring for seniors, those with disabilities, or new mothers.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be a good communicator
- Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Have a smart phone and email account
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Willing to take a TB test
Desired Qualifications
- Must have a passion for caring for those in need
- Have compassion for our clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities
- Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
