Job Summary
Volunteers needed for SummerFest 2026 at UFV Abbotsford Campus to support setup, photobooth, catering, beverage stations (Italian soda, snow cones), merch and crowd support, and tear-down for a one-day on-campus event. Roles emphasize assisting with event operations, engaging attendees, and upholding SUS values of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Must be UFV student for Summer/Fall 2026; unpaid volunteer opportunity with perks including resume-worthy experience and potential reference letter. Shifts run 10:00am–3:30pm on July 9, 2026 with setup, event, and tear-down segments.
Required Qualifications
- UFV Student in Summer 2026 or Fall 2026
- Positive, high-energy personality
- Ability to work with diverse team
- Previous event volunteer experience or interest is a plus but not required
- Available for July 9, 2026 hours
