Job Summary
Summer Youth Work Experience Job Coach in Western Cuyahoga County provides on-the-job supports for high school students and young adults with disabilities to develop work-readiness and independence. Responsibilities include job coaching to develop appropriate work behaviors, task analysis, skills training at the worksite, identifying reasonable accommodations, assessing ability to meet employer expectations, documenting progress daily, tracking hours and submitting timecards weekly, and advocating for students at the worksite. The role requires High School Diploma or GED, plus up to a year of related experience or training, reliable transportation, background checks, and computer literacy (Word/Excel). Work location is Cleveland, OH with part-time, hourly compensation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass required background checks
- Computer literate, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email attachment functions
- Locations include Cleveland, OH; must have reliable transportation to get to a variety of locations
