Job Summary
Seasonal Summer Youth Development Professional responsible for implementing curriculum and programming, supervising youth participants, ensuring safety, and building positive relationships. Role includes facilitation of lessons and activities across STEAM, mentoring, athletics, and literacy; collaboration with volunteers and tutors; onboarding requirements (health physical, TB test, references, clearances, mandated reporter certification, DHS training, CPR/First Aid); starting wage of $17/hour; positions located in Aliquippa, Carnegie, and McKees Rocks, PA.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate
- 2500 hours experience working with children ( babysitting excluding own family members )
- Interest in youth programs including technology, art, sports, STEM, mentoring and recreation
- Proficient in Google Suite
- Must complete health physical and TB test
- 3 letters of Reference upon hiring
- Clearances Act 33, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR letter
- Mandated Reporter Certification within 45 days of hire
- 10 hours of DHS training (can be done virtually)
- Attend CPR, Pediatric First Aid training within the first 90 days of hire
