Job Summary
Summer and Year-Round Program NJYC Part-Time Teachers/Crew Leaders role requiring a New Jersey teacher certificate with endorsements. Responsibilities include teaching and working with youth, applying instructional strategies, managing classrooms, conducting learning assessments and diagnoses, and delivering interventions for at-risk students. Proficiency in using technology to enhance lessons and in English communication (oral and written) is required, along with strong interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, parents, and the community. Knowledge of data management, presentations, and telecommunications to support lesson delivery is expected.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey teacher certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)
- Alternatives to above qualifications may be acceptable as determined by the Superintendent
- Ability to meet budget-related hiring timelines
