Job Summary
Sort, process and inventory Non-Ferrous Metals by operating shears, balers, loaders and forklifts; assist with purchasing various grades of recyclable materials from customers; support customers with unloading of materials; assist with preparing, packing, and loading materials for shipment; maintain inventory accuracy and ensure material tracking; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; operate equipment as needed (loaders, forklifts, and related machinery); conduct basic inspections and documentation as required.
Required Qualifications
- Six months’ small equipment experience is preferred
- Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge
- Basic computer skills
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Accuracy in operation and attention to detail
- Knowledge in inventory control
