Job Summary
Assist in the preparation and filing of individual and business tax returns, perform special projects, and support senior staff with tax planning and advisory services. Organize and analyze financial information while communicating with clients to gather necessary documentation and respond to inquiries. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. This summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience with real-world tax projects and mentorship from experienced CPAs within a collaborative, fast-paced CPA firm in Northbrook, Illinois.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting
- Path to taking the CPA exam
- Entering junior or senior year
- Basic understanding of tax laws
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- High level of integrity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently

- Must be able to work onsite in our Northbrook office
