Job Summary
Step into classrooms when regular staff is unavailable and lead instruction using provided lesson plans. Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment while supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental needs. Collaborate with classroom staff and center leadership as needed to fill last-minute absences across Hillsborough County. This role offers flexible scheduling based on availability with pay of $160 per day. Candidates must hold a credential, 40-hour DCF certification, and relevant safety credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher
- 40-Hour DCF Introductory Child Care Certification
- CDA or FCCPC Credential
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Fire Extinguisher Certification
- Eligible for Level II background screening
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working with children ages 0–5
