Job Summary
Summer Special Education Teachers are sought for the 2026 Summer Program from July 6 to August 6, 2026. Responsibilities include collaborating with peers, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and coordinating services. Qualified candidates should have a MA Teaching Certification, experience with special needs students, effective communication skills, and knowledge of early elementary curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- MA Teaching Certification or Certifiable in Elementary, Special Education, etc.
- Demonstrated experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication skills with parents & staff
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive classroom environment
- Willingness to co-plan and co-teach
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple services occurring within the operating program
- Demonstrated knowledge of early elementary curriculum
- Demonstrated effective instructional practices
