Job Summary
The Riverdale School District seeks an enthusiastic Limited Term Teacher for the Summer School program at Riverdale Grade School. Responsibilities include delivering instruction aligned to state and district standards in science education, planning and implementing a program of study that meets student needs (including TAG, special education, ESL), creating a conducive learning environment, assessing student progress, coordinating with district specialists for referrals, maintaining accurate records, and supervising students in and out of the classroom. The position runs July 6–July 31, 2026, with classes Monday–Thursday 8:00 am–1:30 pm. Bachelor's degree required; Oregon TSPC license with endorsement; Master’s preferred; strong communication skills; valid driver’s license; First Aid/CPR cards preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred (transcripts required)
- Oregon Teachers Standards & Practices Commission (TSPC) License required with appropriate endorsement
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical rights and responsibilities
- Valid driver's license
- Previous successful teaching experience (preferred)
- Valid First Aid and CPR-AED Cards (preferred)
