Job Summary
Summer School Special Education Aide/Bus Aide responsibilities include assisting the teacher with instructional activities, sharing in safeguarding students and school property, performing limited supervisory duties not related to instruction, and providing transportation-related assistance in the mornings and evenings. The role requires lifting and supervising children, maintaining confidentiality of students' health and educational information, and complying with district policies. Must hold a High School diploma or GED, pass the state/county aide test, have a current First Aid/CPR/AED certification and food handler certification, and be an employee of Monroe County Schools. Daily rate of pay is $133.05 with benefits; temporary assignment from June 29, 2026 to July 31, 2026. Deadline June 17, 2026.
