Job Summary
Provide assessment and treatment of student illness and injury; respond to medical emergencies; administer first aid, CPR, AED, and prescribed medications; monitor communicable diseases and manage exclusions/readmissions; maintain accurate health records and required reports; delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel in accordance with state law; communicate effectively with families, staff, and administrators; report suspected abuse/neglect in compliance with state regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- BSN
- BLS Certification
- Knowledge Pediatric and community health practices
- Communicable disease prevention and control
- Massachusetts Nurse Practice Act Essential
