Job Summary
Summer Program Teacher for Hardy County Schools. Three contract positions for a July 27–30 and August 3–6, 2026 session. Hours are 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. with salary of $2,000 funded through federal programs; contracted amount includes time for preparation and data compilation. Employment contingent on student enrollment and may be canceled during program dates based on enrollment. Requires WV professional teaching certificate and Elementary Education K-3 certification; completion of required trainings; successful interview; background check upon request. Responsibilities include delivering instruction in a Summer Program setting, maintaining classroom management, and completing program duties and data-related tasks using the provided framework. Required Qualifications
- West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate
- Certified to Teach: Elementary Education K - 3
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
- Successful completion of the interview process
- Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodations
