Job Summary
Operate school bus routes for Summer Program in Moorefield area, transporting students between designated stops and MES; routes determined after student registration. Must hold WV Bus Operator certification and CPR/First Aid, complete required trainings, and pass background checks. Employment contingent on student enrollment; compensation based on the 2026-2027 salary scale D and paid through federal program funds; job includes transporting students to and from designated stops in the Moorefield area; no compensation for forced closings. Employment procedures include submitting an application, two references, transcripts, certification copy, and background check upon request.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass appropriate classification test and be a certified WV Bus Operator
- Must have or obtain and maintain a current CPR/First Aid card on file
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
- Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration
- Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration
- Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration
- Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration
