Job Summary
Camp Blue Bay seeks a Summer Overnight Camp Coordinator to efficiently manage the operations of the Resident Camp Office during the June 26–August 18, 2025 season. Responsibilities include managing petty cash and change, completing reports and camper lists, purchasing supplies, answering calls from parents, sorting mail, printing bunk notes, responsible driving and fueling of camp vehicles, operating the Camp Trading Post with inventory control, and maintaining staff attendance records. The role involves collaborative work with the Camp Director’s team, assisting in camp administration and personnel duties, and performing other delegated tasks. Required are strong office procedures knowledge, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, willingness to work outdoors in varying weather, and availability to work nights, weekends, and days. Certifications such as lifeguard, CPR, and first aid are required as applicable to the position.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge and understanding of Girl Scouting a plus
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and days
- Ability to carry up to 25 lbs and walk moderate distances
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
- Ability to provide exemplary customer service to campers and parents
- Appropriate certifications as required for position (e.g., lifeguard, CPR, first aid)
