Job Summary
Summer Mountain Ambassador at Sunshine Village (Banff, AB) is a guest-facing role representing the brand to guests and partners, delivering energetic, professional service, and serving as the face of the General & Executive Offices while assisting with groups and events. The position supports the VP Sales & Marketing and collaborates with Sales and Marketing staff, Reception, and other departments. Responsibilities include brand representation to guests and staff, coordinating reception tasks and ticket issuance, preparing vouchers and tickets for groups, aiding with meeting and greeting processes, maintaining logs and reports, coordinating itineraries, and providing administrative support. Required attributes include a positive, mature, professional attitude; ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays; strong English communication skills; confidentiality; proficiency with Microsoft Office; and the ability to lift up to 50lbs and work outdoors. Travel to Banff is required and uniform guidelines and confidentiality standards apply.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business is preferred
- Relevant experience will be considered
- Must be organized, take initiative, and be able to work independently and collaboratively
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid AB driver's license and a clean driving record
- Travel to Banff will be required
- Proficient communication skills in English, written and verbal
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) is an asset
- Some uniform pieces are provided; professional conduct in uniform
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Attention to health and safety hazard assessments
- Participate in meetings and trainings (inside and outside department)
